Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Review vendor invoices for accuracy, researching discrepancies.
  • Post vendor invoices against purchase orders.
  • Post non-PO related vendor invoices, selecting correct general ledger accounts.
  • Post employee expense reports, reviewing for accuracy.
  • Propose invoices for check runs.
  • Process A/P check runs.
  • Track sales tax collected, monitor schedule of sales tax filings, process sales tax returns.
  • Reconcile received not invoiced report monthly.
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Assist in Account Receivable activities, such as customer credit card processing, cash receipts postings and other.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in accounting and/or Accounts Payable
  • Detail oriented with organization and problem solving skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, MS Excel and MS Outlook
  • Ability to interact and communicate different company functions
