Job Description

Our growing procurement team is seeking a bilingual professional (Mandarin/English) who is responsible for providing uninterrupted flow of material to our internal manufacturing group and our highly valued external customers. Monitoring of and relationship development with international suppliers is a critical component of this role. This individual will also be expected to focus on the implementation of lean Supply Chain strategies to achieve favorable quality results with optimal delivery metrics. Additionally, cost reduction targets will be a priority. This is a highly visible role, with exposure to a vast array of leadership team members within our organization which can provide growth and the opportunity for personal and professional success.


  • Process and manage purchase orders from Asian based suppliers.
  • Partner with freight forwarder for shipping and importation into the United States.
  • Manage new product development in Asia and assist with quality documentation as needed.
  • Establish and implement min/max levels, safety stocks, and update other relevant planning data.
  • Conduct, prepare, and report out root cause analysis when the manufacturing plan or OTD to the customer is impacted by either supplier quality and or delivery.
  • Expedite orders to ensure delivery schedules are met and support operational purchasing in resolution of materials shortages and/or escalate accordingly.
  • Develop, implement and update standard work and procedures as required.
  • Identify and report cost savings.
  • Monitor supplier lead times against production lead time requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • BA/BS degree in a relative field highly desirable.
  • Fluency in Chinese Mandarin and English required.
  • 5 years experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated work experience with MRP, Forecasting, Stocking Levels, etc.
  • Proven track record of success working towards improvement of Supplier Delivery and lead time reduction.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to map out processes and analyze data, & information for improvement.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to interact professionally with both internal customers and suppliers.
  • Excellent organizational/project management/communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and able to pivot direction and plans with minimal notice.
  • Technical proficiency, particularly in MS Office (Excel) - MS Dynamic experience highly desirable.
