Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for completion of preventative maintenance, locating sources of mechanical and equipment problems, removing and adjusting defective parts. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories, and order parts as needed. Prepares and maintains mechanical maintenance charts and reports as required. Stocking, cleans, and maintains maintenance department. 

WORKING CONDITIONS/EXPOSURES: Works in an environment that may be dusty, hot and humid or cold and wet. Job tasks may be performed inside the facility or outside the building or grounds.


BEHAVIORAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be willing to work overtime on short notice and weekend.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Must have ability to balance multiple tasks/projects in continuously changing situations.  Must have ability to work effectively, efficiently and accurately.  Must have ability to function with minimal supervision.  Must have basic mechanical aptitude. Must have personal integrity, ability to communicate in a professional manner.  Must have ability to work in a positive manner with vendors, co-workers, and all other individuals and departments within the company.  Must maintain regular and predictable attendance.
