Job Description

WORKING PROCEDURE:

1. Initiate known work duties and/or receive instructions from supervisor.
2. Operate take-up machines, strip wire off bobbins, rewind scrap.
3. Use forklift to move process to rewinder area, move finished material to staging areas, stage skids of empty spools,
4. Rack bobbins on skids with use of forklift and/or hoist.
5. Band bobbins to skids with use of banding and bander equipment.
6. Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
7. Maintain proper quality standards.
8. Observe all safety rules.
9. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.  

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

• Various equipment, forklift, overhead crane, hand tools, safety glasses, various tools and equipment.   

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear for a maximum of twelve (12) hours a day.  The employee must be able to push/pull 500# bobbins throughout the shift and move 1,000 lb reels using crane and forklift.
