The Position 

This position is a member of the Sales & Marketing department.  The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Global Sales.  The Marketing Coordinator will be an integral part of the execution of various initiatives set forth by the Director of Global Sales with a primary focus on the development, coordination, and management of all content for Bartell Machinery Systems. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring both externally and internally created content is in line with brand standards while being grammatically and technically accurate. The position will collaborate with the various departments and global offices to make certain all information is on-brand and consistent in terms of style and quality across all channels. 

Job Description 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Accountable for leading all content marketing initiatives in both print and digital media forms that support strategic initiatives, drive website traffic, customer engagement, and sales leads, while delivering a positive ROI. 
  • Support the development of marketing strategies and plans.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns, programs, and initiatives.
  • Lead the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and promotional items.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign results, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage marketing project schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage external agency and vendor relationships, as needed.
  • Provide support for events, trade shows, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborates across functions and departments (including sales, product development, and customer service to deliver. effective content marketing materials to meet the business objectives with a focus on maximizing returns on invested costs.   
  • Editorial requirements include working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.  
  • Development of editorial and content calendar. 
  • Clear communication and collaboration with creative resources including graphic designers and other external consultants. 
  • Graphic design and video editing capability
  • Development of print, digital, video, social media and website graphics to support business objectives. 

Job Requirements  

Education 

Bachelor's degree in marketing-based discipline with 1-2 years of experience, associate degree in marketing-based discipline with 3-5 years of experience, or 5+ years of job-specific work experience. 

Skills & Relevant Work Experience 

  • Demonstrated experience with maintaining and developing content. 
  • Demonstrated experience with social media accounts, website development and analytic tools (Such as Google Analytics) and email campaign tools.
  • Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, D365, Power BI, and WordPress a plus 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter, forward thinker and an effective, persuasive communicator 

 Travel Requirements: Up to 10% annually
