Drives Business Results:

  • Develop, deploy and continually refine Barko’s brand solidifying it in a premium position
  • Develop, deploy and promote Barko products’ value proposition
  • Develop, in conjunction with other Barko departments, Barko’s competitive advantage/s plan and leverage it in the retail market with

Marketing Materials

  • Develop and drive the marketing materials plan to include product literature, dealer co-op assets, dealer recruitment materials, multi-media resources, and all Barko advertising materials.
  • Ensure branding requirements are met both internally & externally with partners and at events.

Public Relations

  • Executes the public relations strategy and interact with industry participant and press.
  • Manage customer events.

Budget Management

  • Successful development and management of marketing and advertising budgets.

Data Analysis and Management

  • Use marketing analytics to drive and maximize marketing communication efforts.
  • Analyze industry data to identify sales trends and conduct marketing planning and development.
  • Manage Barko’s industry reporting requirements

Creative Planning and Execution

  • Create innovative and cost-effective marketing campaigns to drive market penetration in machine and aftermarket business and support marketing initiatives with the account managers.
  • Lead development and execution of creative, photo, video and other related efforts.

Marketing Campaign Strategy & Process

  • Develop e-business channel to promote our products and target higher participation within the forestry market.
  • Collaborate w/sales team to ensure good engagement in all marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and execute promotional campaigns, materials and tactics.
  • Create and execute annual marketing plan.

Job Requirements

Experience and Education:

  • Experience: 5 years marketing experience; experience in the manufacturing industry and product operation is strongly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field high desired.

Supervisory Responsibility – This position may manage employees and would be responsible for the hiring, performance management and discipline of the employees.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work - This is a full-time position. Typical work hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel - This position requires occasional travel, including travel outside the local area and overnight. Occasional international travel may be required.

Work Environment - The position operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, iPads, phones, copiers and filing cabinets.  The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts.
