Job Description

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for designing, creating and delivering marketing and communications programs to drive the growth and expansion of Barko products and services. The position will analyze dealer requirements to develop messaging architecture programs including graphics, product collateral, logos, or other promotional products to effectively describe and promote all Barko products. S/he will develop and deliver reports on marketing trends, competition, and new products and work closely with outside vendors/agencies on the design and execution of advertising campaigns, trade show exhibitions, mail campaigns, and seminars.

 Facilitate the development of marketing objectives focused on sales growth, marketing program adoption and continuous improvement.
 Support the Barko Dealer network with the development and preparation of marketing materials (brochures/flyers/reports) to promote upcoming programs.
 Develop training and sales aids for Dealers.
 Contribute to competitive analysis and identify gaps and opportunities in the industry.
o Conduct market research to assist in the development and marketing of new products.
o Provide information on competitive activities and industry news and trends.
o Prepare and disseminate reports on marketing trends, competition and new products.
 Analyze web analytics to assist in making digital recommendations.
 Keep abreast of emerging behaviors, technologies, and companies that may impact the organization.
 Write, edit, and proofread content for a variety of marketing channels, including website, email, events, social media, and video.
 Collaborate with internal subject matter experts in sales to write, edit, and proofread thought content such as press releases and articles.
 Manage the content calendar and proactively uncover new opportunities for content creation and distribution that align with overall business and marketing objectives.
 Generate data and reports to evaluate and improve performance of marketing programs.
 Assist with coordinating trade-shows, including show selection/research, in-booth promotions/sponsorship's, etc.
 Manage marketing database and other digital assets.
 Facilitate dealer scorecards that include parts and machine sales activity/goals.
 Assist with contract management of new and existing dealers.
 Assist with lead generation to fill dealer vacancies or address dealer quality issues.
 Maintain dealer on-boarding plans and coordinate new dealer on-boarding.
 Work in conjunction with district Account Managers on partner-based growth initiatives for achieving dealership expansion goals.
 Coordinate dealer activities and report progress with the Sales team.
 Facilitate Advanced Order Placement Program (AOPP) with Dealer’s & Account Mangers.
 Maintain the marketing database for Dealer Marketing Information (DealerNet).
 Work with Account Managers to ensure Co-op funds are efficiently tracked and utilized.
 Manage all invoices and expenses against budget.
 Manage inventory of in-house premiums and fulfillment of contest prizes.
 Review and process orders for special merchandising programs.
 Maintain repository for competitive pricing data.
 Assist with pricing processes and reporting for equipment, options, and aftermarket on an as-needed basis.
 Conduct margin review activities and communicate pricing actions with sales team and dealer network.
 Assist in administrative duties related to Sales & Marketing.
