Job Description

Our order entry/customer care specialist will be tasked with critical and customer focused administrative responsibilities within our customer care group. Along with teammates and department heads, this individual will be responsible for supporting the company’s overall sales strategy and profit objectives while ensuring a 100% positive customer experience for all customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process orders and order acknowledgements from assigned regions within the Microsoft Dynamics system accurately and within a timely manner.
  • Manage customer portal updates with accurate and timely data.
  • Provide and fulfill reporting requirements for territory support as requested by Regional Sales Manager.
  • As needed follow up with customer inquiries and confirm shipping schedules/adjustments.
  • Partner with production management group to understand lead times and delivery expectations for customers and translate those to appropriate parties as needed.
  • Provide back up to teammates within the department when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2-5 years customer service in a fast-paced manufacturing group or office type setting. 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and change direction with minimal notice.
  • Sense of urgency and willingness to do what it takes to satisfy our customer.
  • Ability to analyze requests (both internal and external) and understand Wakefield-Vette’s systems well enough to retrieve data to support request.
  • Proven team player, a great teammate that brings out the best in their teammates.
  • Strong organizational skills; analytical and metrics driven approach to driving results.
  • Goal oriented; ability to prioritize and deliver on key objectives.
  • Winning attitude and competitive spirit
  • Excellent technical aptitude. Strong PC skills and experience with ERP and CRM system(s); (preferably Microsoft AX ERP, Epics and C2 CRM). Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
