Promote and enforce compliance of safety policies and procedures. Conduct safety investigations and audits. Ensure employees complete required monthly safety and compliance training on time. Supervise and direct work activity of employees. Distribute workload. Determine staffing requirements for the assigned production area. Motivate and empower subordinates. Work with employees to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Work to identify and eliminate waste in assigned departments. Participate in cost and scrap reduction programs in conjunction with quality and maintenance departments. Ensure quality standards are met that emphasize and focus on continuous improvement in an effort to improve manufacturing capability and reduce rework and scrap. Contain source of quality issues. Coordinate corrective action activities.

The Production Supervisor is expected to complete a face-to-face passdown with the shift supervisor working before and after the shift. Weekend rotation is required.
