Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate as Team leader on assigned projects. Leverage the product development process to assure on time and on budget launch of new and revised products.
- Design and develop innovative new and modified HVAC products, specifically for indoor air quality, ventilation or combustion.
- Lead technology development and R&D in support of long-term product portfolio plans.
- Provide product support to Production, Sales, Customer Service and others as needed.
- Direct product evaluations and analysis to support effective product design and assure ongoing product reliability.
- Work with Quality Assurance to develop product quality plans.
- Actively engage continuous improvement projects and activities supporting Production and Quality Departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Qualifications:
- S. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in Product Development.
- Project management experience (formal training preferred).
- Familiar with FMEAs, Design of Experiments and other key engineering disciplines.
Skills and Specifications:
- Solidworks expertise
- MS Office and general computer skills required
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Must be self-directed.
