Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Priorities:

  • Place purchase orders for inventory items and expense items.
  • Ensure PO confirmation from suppliers and log in ERP system.
  • Monitor inbound shipments and update the Purchasing and Planning team with updates.
  • Assist with expedite and move out requests.
  • Update ERP system with changes.
  • Match receipts with invoices for wire transfer payments.
  • Process drop ship receipts and sales order shipment transactions.
  • Provide administrative support in the purchasing department and backup support to buyers.
  • Work with Receiving and Buyers to resolve receiving issues.
  • Work with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice issues.
  • Knowledgeable of the purchasing process, vendor relations, lead times for raw materials, and inventory control.
  • Maintains timely control of documents and data to assure accurate retention of records.
