Reporting to the Company President, the Vice-President plans, develops, and directs all aspects of a region’s operational policies, objectives, and initiatives to ensure optimization and compliance with established standards and regulations. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of company concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and discernment to plan and accomplish goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversees operational business activities, such as productivity, costs, quality, and safety consistent with company policies and practices in delivering total concrete solutions for designated regions to achieve overall corporate objectives.
  • Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Helps establish and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures business activities are ethical and reported accurately and timely.
  • Provides guidance to key personnel. Reviews and analyzes performance, costs, and operations to maintain progress toward the achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Establishes annual budgets and financial forecasts as required.
  • Oversees the strategic marketing plan for designated regions to ensure growth targets are achieved for assigned territories.
  • Reviews the planning, budgeting and implementation of concrete frame and formwork projects.
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance company’s ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree plus a minimum of five years of work experience as a Ceco District or Regional Manager exceeding performance expectations, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of all phases of concrete construction including installation of rebar and post tension systems, concrete placement, formwork systems, and layout.
  • A proven ability to make decisions and follow through on commitments while successfully managing multiple tasks of varying degrees of scope and complexity.
  • The ability to read and analyze financial statements such as P & L’s and key financial indicator reports.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities such as new customers, markets and scopes of work to ultimately increase company for revenue and profitability.
  • Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively work with all levels of the organization, as well as customers and subcontractors.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
  • Ability to travel and work for extended periods of time on assignments outside home base area.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook).
