The Yard Manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of BoMac’s yard in Beaumont, TX supporting the field operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates all incoming and outgoing material and equipment orders from / to the yard.
  • Oversees all loads & unloads through the yard.
  • Responsible for coordination of materials and equipment requirements to ensure that necessary equipment is ready / available on assigned projects in a timely manner.
  • Provides administrative support by maintaining files for all vendors, and equipment, produces month end reports, maintains employee safety files, yard inventory and office and yard supplies.
  • Ensures that all safety procedures are adhered to.
  • Assists in planning work schedules, determining workforce needs, material qualities, construction equipment requirements, and crew training needs.
  • Plans, coordinates, and delegates work to crews.
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • An Associate’s degree in business administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years of relevant marine, equipment manufacturing, or warehouse shipping and receiving experience.
  • Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation.
  • Proficient experience and command using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • A proven ability to make decisions and follow through on commitments and who exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
