CNC MACHINE TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic skilled CNC Machine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering top-notch service and contributing to a positive and dynamic work environment. A successful candidate is able to adapt, works well under pressure and has a sense of urgency and understanding of equipment reliability. As a key member of the Fabrication Manufacturing Group, the CNC Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains various models of CNC machinery in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operator manuals and manufacturer’s specifications. This is a critical and strongly valued role in a growing organization with a reputable and well-known presence in the thermal design manufacturing industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility CNC machinery and systems.
• Respond to equipment failures and partnering with production management to prioritize repairs according to customer demand and department goals/metrics.
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
• Disassemble CNC machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of CNC machinery and equipment.
• Install, test, repair and troubleshoot various CNC controls.
• Partner with outside vendors as needed.
• Maintain and secure work tools.
• Embrace 5S concepts and responsible for cleanliness of his/her own work area and the general housekeeping of the Company.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Five years of CNC repair/maintenance experience in a similar type manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with and strong knowledge of HASS machinery.
• Proven troubleshooting skills with the ability to change direction with minimal notice.
• Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings.
• Dedication to complete duties so customer demands are satisfied, and production goals are met.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize, organize and tackle problems simultaneously with a positive outcome.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel and control objects or tools. The employee is regularly required to stand and occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to airborne particles and chemicals. The noise level is usually very loud.
The employee is required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection and steel toed boots.
