Purchasing Coordinator

The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the procurement process by managing supplier relationships, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Process purchase orders and maintain accurate records in the procurement system.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reordering of supplies as needed.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
- Prepare and analyze purchasing reports to track spending and identify trends.
- Support the negotiation of contracts and terms with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding purchasing activities.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to orders, deliveries, or invoicing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project needs and requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimus of two to four years of work experience supporting similar key responsibilities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Advanced PC skills, including: MS Word and Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Positive team player.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
