About the role
As a Production Operative, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring ARCOL delivers high quality products, on time to our customers around the world. Working as part of a supportive and collaborative Production and Operations Team, you’ll contribute to weekly targets, follow established production procedures, and maintain excellent quality standards. You’ll also have opportunities to cross‑train in different areas of production, adding variety to your work and increasing your skills across the wider manufacturing process.
This is a permanent, full‑time position covering 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Our usual shift patterns run between 6.00am and 3.00pm and include a 30‑minute paid lunch break. We encourage applications for flexible working and are happy to discuss this with you.
Your day‑to‑day work includes:
- Completing weekly production tasks efficiently and accurately
- Working proactively with colleagues across Production, EHS and Quality
- Following all production, quality and safety procedures
- Maintaining accurate production records
- Minimising waste and rejection levels
- Supporting continuous improvement across the workflow
- Demonstrating flexibility, reliability, teamwork, and a positive, cooperative approach
