Machinist

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Horizontal Machining Center experience
• Experience with machining Aluminum and or Steel
• Must be proficient with FANUC Controls & G-Code Programming
• Ability to set up machine and perform 1st piece inspection
• Possess a track history of on time production
• Work with minimal supervision
• Maintain accurate documentation and routers
• Experience validating part conformity using inspection tools
• Work overtime as required
• Abide by all Safety rules

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to read and understand Blueprints
• Ability to interpret and understand GD&T
• Proficient with common shop inspection tools
• Skilled in setting up machines for maximum performance
• Ability to make CNC tooling and fixtures
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills – Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Open and honest communication
• Experience with operating various types of HAAS machines a plus
• Ability to acknowledge issues & or concerns in a timely manner

 Years of Experience & Education Requirements:

• 3-year minimum experience in the Aerospace Industry.
