The Special Process Technician will be responsible for the processing of aluminum components through chemical conversion line for the Aerospace and Defense industries. This individual will be expected to embrace and exhibit our culture of honesty, integrity, and good corporate citizenship. This is a critical role within the Brazing team and requires a detailed mind set. This role reports directly to the Brazing Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strive towards a culture of proactive safety.
- Chem cleaning of components prior to assembly.
- Chem conversion of finished components.
- Safely racking and unracking of finished components.
- Loading/Unloading of humidity chamber.
- Load/Unload of heat treat oven.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCES:
- High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED).
- Strong verbal communication.
- Ability to follow safety regulations and take directions.
- Previous chem line experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
