Role Overview 

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Product & Technology at Stenograph, LLC is responsible for defining and executing the product and technology vision for a portfolio of market‑leading court reporting, legal transcription, and justice‑focused technology solutions.
This executive will lead product strategy, software engineering, and technology operations to ensure Stenograph continues to innovate and deliver reliable, secure, and high‑quality solutions that support court reporters, legal professionals, and justice system stakeholders. The SVP plays a critical role in advancing Stenograph’s mission to enable accurate legal records through technology innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Executive Leadership
•Define and execute Stenograph’s long‑term product and technology strategy aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
•Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to Stenograph strategy, growth initiatives, and operational planning and policy initiatives.
•Drive innovation across hardware‑adjacent software, SaaS platforms, and digital services supporting court reporting and legal transcription.
•Lead, mentor, and develop senior leaders across product management, engineering, architecture, and technology operations.

Product Leadership
•Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for Stenograph’s technology solutions, from vision and roadmap through delivery and continuous improvement.
•Ensure product strategies are informed by customer feedback, market trends, regulatory considerations, and the evolving legal technology landscape.
•Balance modern innovation with the stability and reliability required in court reporting and justice system environments.
•Establish clear product governance, prioritization frameworks, and outcome‑based success metrics.

Technology & Engineering
•Oversee all technology functions, including software engineering, platform architecture, infrastructure, quality, security, and IT operations.
•Ensure Stenograph’s technology platforms are scalable, secure, resilient, and compliant with industry and customer requirements.
•Introduce AI to the product and tech stacks and leverage the productivity and capability benefits. Continue to evolve the AI integration as the technology grows.
•Lead cybersecurity, data protection, and risk management efforts to safeguard customer data and ensure operational trust.

Execution & Operational Excellence
•Drive predictable, high‑quality and on-time delivery of product and technology initiatives.
•Manage technology budgets, investment priorities, and vendor partnerships.
•Establish KPIs and dashboards to track delivery velocity, product performance, operational reliability, and customer outcomes.
•Implement a strong DevOps process to ensure the highest utilization of assets at the lowest operating cost.
•Proactively address technical debt and legacy modernization to support long‑term innovation.

Cross‑Functional Partnership
•Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, and Training teams to align products with go‑to‑market and customer success strategies.
•Support customer, industry, and partner engagements as a senior product and technology leader.
•Clearly communicate complex technical and product concepts to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications
Education
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required
•Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred

Experience
•12+ years of progressive leadership experience across product management and technology
•Proven experience leading large, cross‑functional product and engineering organizations
•Track record of delivering successful, scalable SaaS or enterprise technology platforms
•Experience in legal tech, professional services technology, regulated industries, or B2B SaaS strongly preferred

Compensation & Benefits 

•Salary Range $255,000-$325,000
•Health, dental, vision, and 401K benefits.
