Service Project Manager/Estimator
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all aspects of large-scale electrical projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to define project requirements and objectives.
- Lead project teams, providing guidance and direction to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the duration of the project.
- Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts
- Supervise/mentor the work of other project managers and assistant project managers.
- Coordinate all aspects of construction with on-site project superintendent
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in commercial electrical project management
- Proven track record of successfully managing commercial electrical projects from conception to completion. (Remove Large Scale)
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving project goals and objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, project teams, and vendors.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Excel, Accubid estimating software, Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Project.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus.
- Outstanding negotiation and change order management skills
- Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee and project performance
- Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
