Software Verification Lead

Job Title: Software Verification Lead
Rate of Pay: $154,499

Job Description: Perform system and software verification and validation activities. Prepare plan and process documents in compliance with ARP4754 and DO-178B/C. Write test procedures and perform test execution. Perform software and system troubleshooting. Set up and maintain the software verification environment. Validate and review system and software requirements. Ensure all verification activities meet configuration management objectives. Ensure complete traceability between requirements, design, code, and tests. Prepare for and support internal and external audits, including certification reviews.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of experience as a Computer Systems Engineer/Architects or related occupation, job title in the Aerospace industry. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: 1) Defining and executing detailed verification plans and test procedures for high-level and low-level requirements; 2) Supporting SOI3/CERT audits, ensuring regulatory compliance for DO-178C and ARP4754 artifacts; 3) Applying ARP4754 standards for validating and verifying aerospace system-level requirements, including end-to-end system integration; 4) Compliance testing, meeting DO-178B/C DAL standards, including Modified Condition/Decision Coverage (MC/DC). 5) Using VectorCAST, RTRT for structural coverage analysis to ensure code-level verification and safety compliance; and 6) Tools like DOORS Next Generation, MKS, and JIRA for managing configuration and ensuring traceability.
