The Company

Davies Molding LLC, an ITG company, has been a leading supplier of standard knobs, handles, cases, and custom plastic components since 1933. The company has an extensive range of molds and utilizes multiple plastic types that give its customers the widest selection of styles and mountings available. With over 400 products and 9,000 variations in size, shape, color and molded-in metal inserts, Davies supplies top-quality parts engineered to meet any requirement. The once small plastic molding company that stood in downtown Chicago is now the largest manufacturer of plastic knobs and handles in the world today.

• Perform general janitorial duties including:

  • Sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing shop floors

  • Cleaning offices, restrooms, and common areas

  • Collecting and disposing of trash

  • Cleaning restrooms and restocking supplies (paper products, soap, towels, air fresheners)

• Maintain cleanliness of outside areas and yard

• Keep stockroom neat and organized

• Follow all plant, departmental, and safety rules

• Support company events by helping set up tables and chairs when needed

• Perform other related duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English for safety, training, and job-related communication

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Good physical mobility (must walk the plant regularly)

• Safety-conscious with strong attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift

• Manual dexterity for sustained periods

• Ability to safely lift and move trash barrels and cleaning materials

Rate of Pay $17-18/ hour
