Vice President Sales
General Description:
The Vice President of Sales is responsible for the development of the commercial strategy and accountable for the execution of said strategy. The VP Sales creates and implements all sales programs, promos, rebates, and pricing structures with the approval of the president. The Vice President of Sales is responsible for creating and executing the sales plan to fulfill growth and profit objectives, maximize sales through effective communication and management, and to relay sales enablement or marketing needs to the Marketing or Sales Enablement Manager. The VP is also the primary contact for certain House and OEM accounts as designated by the President.
Essential Job Functions:
- Be a leading contributor to the development of the strategic plan and in the execution thereof.
- Oversee and enforce sales policy and pricing.
- Support and manage the development of the direct sales team as well as the independent rep groups.
- Orchestrate and execute sales training with the support of engineering and tech services.
- Communicate with the Customer Service Manager to ensure proper account set-up and support.
- Execute trade shows and provide marketing direction with the partnership of the Marketing or Sales Enablement Manager.
- Establish approved annual sales goals, developmental goals incentives of all sales personnel.
- Ensure adherence to budgets for all sales personnel and functional areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree.
MBA recommended.
10+ years of progressive management experience.
5+ years HVAC industry experience.
25-60% national and limited international travel required.
Office on site, Kinston for non-travel weekdays.Skills and Specifications:
