Revenue Analysis Supervisor

Description:

The Revenue Analysis Supervisor plays a critical role in analyzing and interpreting revenue data to drive strategic decision-making. This position requires a highly analytical individual with strong financial modeling and data analysis skills. The supervisor will oversee revenue reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and providing insightful recommendations. They will also be responsible for budgeting and financial planning , utilizing their SQL and Python skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly and concisely. They will also demonstrate problem-solving abilities and a commitment to process improvement.



Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports.

  • Develop and maintain financial models for revenue forecasting and budgeting.

  • Conduct variance analysis, identifying and explaining key drivers of revenue fluctuations.

  • Utilize SQL and Python to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets for revenue insights.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure data integrity.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management, utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint for effective communication.

  • Oversee the revenue planning process, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Manage and mentor a team of revenue analysts, providing guidance and support.

  • Implement and maintain robust reporting processes, focusing on accuracy and efficiency.

  • Demonstrate strong ** organizational skills** and time management to meet deadlines.



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or revenue management.

  • Thorough knowledge of financial modeling techniques.

  • Strong ** communication** and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.

  • Demonstrated ** leadership** and management abilities.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive financial information.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance or a related field.

  • Experience with revenue recognition principles.
