Sr. Project Manager (Commercial Electrical) - Houston, TX

Its management team guides clients through all phases of planning, design, construction, and project management for commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. KenMor's work ranges from office buildings and multiuse developments to stadiums, arenas, shopping centers, restaurants, hospitals, and industrial plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction management and a proven track record of successfully completing large scale projects from 10M to 50M dollars.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all aspects of large-scale electrical projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to define project requirements and objectives.
- Lead project teams, providing guidance and direction to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the duration of the project.

Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts
- Supervise/mentor the work of other project managers and assistant project managers.
- Coordinate all aspects of construction with on-site project superintendent
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 8 consecutive years of experience in commercial electrical project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial electrical projects from conception to completion.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving project goals and objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, project teams, and vendors.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Excel, Accubid estimating software, Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Project.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus.
- Outstanding negotiation and change order management skills
- Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee and project performance
- Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
