Full-Time
- Troubleshoot using working knowledge of programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Perform plumbing and pipefitting duties as required on plant piping, such as water, air, gas and chemical lines
- Operate and repair electrically and mechanically, all compressors, sprinklers, cooling towers and pumps as needed
- Read and interpret machine electrical and mechanical drawings
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams
- Installation, modification and fabrication of equipment and systems to meet production needs and schedules
- Welds and fabricates as necessary for repair of projects
- Maintains interior and exterior of buildings including windows, drain spouts, roofs, floors, ceiling, etc
- Inputs and retrieves information from management
- Participates in continuous improvement in safety, quality and housekeeping
- Performs preventative maintenance as directed
- Performs various inspections on safety equipment
- Requisitions material, parts, and tools
- Communicate clearly from one shift to another and to crew leader and supervisor/manager
- Coordinates the scheduling of repairs
- Actively participates in adhering to plant housekeeping requirements by picking up trash, sweeping work areas, and returning materials and equipment to their proper location
- Reads and comprehends instructions regarding new equipment, equipment changes and/or procedural changes
- Other tasks determined by management
