Payroll and HR Specialist
Concrete Frame Associates is Denver’s leading provider of concrete formwork and concrete frame services. Concrete Frame Associates is searching for a full-time HR and Payroll Administrator for our Aurora, CO office to work in a fast-paced office environment, independently performing a variety of administrative responsibilities supporting complex concrete construction projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with superintendents and managers to collect, review, and upload weekly timecards.
- Processes weekly payroll after ensuring compliance with company policies and payroll laws, managing taxes and employee deductions, and generating payments to over 300 employees.
- Proactively reviews projects, deductions, and payroll metrics to identify opportunities to promote company operations and ensure financial accuracy.
- Assists employees with company benefit plans as needed.
- Works with management to process irregular employee payments for terminations and bonuses.
- Ensures the correct remittance of payments to unions and government agencies for head taxes and garnishments.
- Prepares and submits weekly certified payroll reports for prevailing wage projects.
- Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Four + years of payroll and HR experience.
- College degree preferred but not required based on experience.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus and attention to detail.
- Possess knowledge of payroll laws, employment taxes, and benefit plans.
- Must be dependable and exemplify professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.
CFA offers a competitive benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a generous 401k plan. Hourly range for this position is $30.00 to $35.00 per hour.
