Role Overview

As a District Manager, you will oversee operations, business development, and project execution within a designated geographic area. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality across all construction activities. You will manage multiple project teams, build strong client relationships, and coordinate with internal departments to deliver successful structural construction solutions on time and within budget.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of all structural construction projects within the district, ensuring timely completion, cost control, and compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Coordinate the planning and implementation of concrete frame and formwork projects.
  • Monitor project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis; Identify cost saving-opportunities.
  • Participate in take-offs, estimating, bids and pre-construction meetings.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor district staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Conduct regular performance reviews and support professional growth.
  • Perform jobsite inspections/audits of shoring, rebar/pt installation, safety, and quality.
  • Responsible for assisting the managing of project productivity, costs, quality and safety consistent with company policies and practices.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and lead proposal development/contract negotiations to expand the district’s portfolio and manage backlog.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure alignment and resolve issues promptly.
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, related degree, or its equivalent of

work experience successfully supporting similar primary responsibilities.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural construction, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of structural construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and ensure fulfillment of agreements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information regarding plan layouts, material deliveries and jobsite productivities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
  • Ability to travel and work for extended periods of time on projects outside of office area.
