Inventory Coordinator
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Logistics Manager. The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for keeping our inventory checks in line and accurate. In this role you will be on the front line of our operation working with the materials and manufacturing teams to ensure inventory management is a top priority.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily cycle counts as distributed by the Inventory Control Supervisor.
- Investigate and monitor all inventory issues, determine, document root causes and track follow up actions to completion.
- Work with cross functional teams to address excess and aging inventory.
- Work with the cross functional ECO team to implement changes. Perform ECO tasks pertaining to inventory control.
- Maintain inventory bin locations and warehouses in Epicor ERP.
- Perform monthly bin audits as distributed by the Inventory Control Supervisor.
- Maintain all inventory control programs including kanban systems, and 2 bin systems.
- Assist Inventory Control Supervisor with coordinating the annual physical inventory count(s).
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Grade 12 or equivalent
Experience: 3-5 years warehouse experience associated with machining, assembly and testing operations. Working knowledge and experience with ERP systems.
Specific Skill Ability and Knowledge
- Working experience using Epicor ERP is an asset.
- Strong computer skills with experience using MRP and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of warehousing and manufacturing workflows.
- Experience working and managing inventory in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to employ critical thinking skills to track issues and determine root causes.
- Proficient ability using Excel and other MS office applications.
- Must have experience working with multi-level bills of material (BOM’s)
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Forklift/ reach truck experience is an asset.

Salary Range: $49,500 - 60,000 CAD based on experience
