Warehouse Clerk
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Escalate all unsafe conditions so they can be promptly addressed.
Unload parts and assemblies from delivery trucks and trailers. Be able to identify, label, record and place parts in locations to ensure inventory location accuracy.
Report defective materials, potential parts shortages, or questionable conditions to department supervisor immediately.
Load and prepare machines for delivery to customers.
Handle material using various styles of forklifts and overhead cranes.
Read bills of materials and picklists for delivery of parts to the assembly line.
Ensure timely delivery of parts to the assembly line utilizing FIFO concept.
Check for discrepancies such as: wrong count, wrong part, incorrect tagging, improper packaging and quality issues.
Prepare parts for delivery by removing dunnage and placing parts in identified staging locations.
Assist inventory control in counting parts for inventory accuracy.
Assist with shipping and receiving functions, including operation of software and physical stocking of parts.
Execute safety and facility improvement projects.
Assist with snow removal as needed.
