Financial Analyst (Hybrid)

ANCRA INTERNATIONAL, LLC Warrenville, IL (Hybrid) Full-Time

Position Summary:

Perform various accounting and controlling operations for all business units of Applied Solutions Group, including the preparation of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting record systems, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Works closely with business units, ASG, and Heico Corporate to support various initiatives. This position reports to the FPA & BI Manager.

Salary Range:

  • $65,000-$75,000/year 

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities for this role are as follows:

  • Review business unit results (MD&A and financial statements), including customer and product-line revenue and margin details; investigate trends and variances.
  • Support preparation of monthly executive presentations and enhance Group reporting deliverables (financial results, key metrics, and variance reporting).
  • Collaborate with business units to track commercial and operational KPIs and actionable metrics.
  • Support the annual plan, quarterly forecast, and long-term strategic planning processes; prepare executive-ready materials.
  • Validate plan and forecast assumptions and review financial statements to help business units build more accurate forecasts.
  • Assist in analyzing industry trends and benchmark business unit plans/forecasts against key macro and micro indicators to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Assist in validating quarterly forecasts using tracked industry outlooks to test organic growth assumptions.
  • Partner with the ASG Leadership to validate strategic plan initiatives and financials; assist in developing the ASG long-term plan.
  • Engage with business units to implement the S&OP/SIOP process; provide ongoing support and track forecast accuracy.
  • Analyze and data-mine reported information related to specific commercial initiatives.
  • Assist in building financial models to evaluate businesses, capital investments, and alternative business decisions.
  • Collaborate with operating companies on business unit-level analysis projects.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes for more efficient use of data.
  • Work with businesses to validate key commercial initiatives and strategy execution through financial outcomes.
  • Serve as a resource to 21 Group’s operating businesses on any commercial analysis and forecast work as required to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Progress toward CPA or other professional certification is a plus.

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of professional experience in commercial finance or corporate finance.
  • Manufacturing or CPG industry background highly preferred.
  • Experience working in team environments.
  • Experience working with multi-national corporations is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with OneStream and exposure to Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical foundation with ability to learn and apply financial concepts quickly
  • Clear communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects with overlapping timelines and deliverables.
  • Eager to learn, adaptable, and motivated to grow beyond traditional role boundaries.

Working Conditions/Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization.
  • Hybrid work policy: 3 days in the office / 2 days remote each week.
  • Occasional travel to the Group’s operating businesses may be necessary.
