Customer Service Specialist

Responsibility Highlights
- Represent Spartan Tool in a positive and professional manner
- Work with all company personnel and outside contacts to proactively satisfy existing customer service requests and needs
- Work with Customer Service Manager and team to continually develop new customers and new markets
- Order entry of all incoming orders
- Handle all levels of interaction with customers via phone, email, live chat, and other communication channels
- Develop quotes in cooperation with the Customer Service Manager on an as needed basis
- Conduct research of ongoing customer needs
- Perform routine follow up calls with current customers
- Inside sales duties are performed accurately and with a sense of urgency, while keeping the needs and interest of the customer and Spartan Tool in mind
- Collecting and reporting customer information and issues
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years customer service or inside sales experience required
- 2 Year degree preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with an ERP system (Microsoft D365) preferred
- Customer focused mindset and positive/reliable team member
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery helpful
- Superior organizational, analytical, problem solving, multi-tasking, written and verbal communications skills.
