Vacuum Brazer - WEEKEND SHIFT (3x12's) + 25% Shift Differential!
Weekend shift highlights - 25% shift differential, Fri-Sun 12 hour work schedule
--> Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours!!
SUMMARY:
The Vacuum Brazer will be responsible for the assembly, straightening and brazing of aluminum chassis for the Aerospace and Defense industries. This is a critical role within the Brazing team and requires a detailed mind set. This role reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strive towards a culture of proactive safety.
- Precision mechanical assembly of complex assemblies using internal drawings, shop travelers, set-up sheets and measuring tools.
- Provide technical support in special process.
- Vacuum Brazing, pre and post braze straightening.
- Chemical cleaning of components.
- Preventative maintenance and equipment calibration.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED).
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- 2-5 years experience in dip and/or vacuum braze experience a plus.
- Ability to read internal drawings and use basic measuring equipment.
