Customer Service Representative

Davis Wire Irwindale, CA (Onsite) Full-Time

Job Description

    • Manage a large volume of customer calls and emails in a friendly and courteous manner.
    • Communicating with customers through various channels on order/delivery status, stock issues, change orders, and service issues.
    • Receive and process customer orders.
    • Coordinate product returns and customer claims.
    • Monitors orders for adherence to correct pricing, proactively working with sales or customer to correct any issues prior to the order invoicing.
    • Communicating with customers through various channels on order/delivery status, stock issues, change orders, and service issues.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, logistics, sales, quality) to ensure customer satisfaction and timely fulfillment.
    • Provide prompt and efficient response and resolution to each inquiry; such inquiries or problems could involve quality, coordination of deliveries, availability of product, special orders, customer pricing and/or shipping, production & billing, etc.
    • Database maintenance and corrections.
    • Keep records of customer interactions.
    • Willingness to work overtime when needed.
    • Prepares and publishes reports for customers and sales personnel as needed.
    • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 2-4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrate an ability to effectively manage competing priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Passionately focused on continuous improvement.
    • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Experience with ERP and CRM applications; experience with Microsoft D365 preferred.
    • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with a team.
    • 1 -2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
