Job Description

Drive Business Results:
 Proactive member of the Ardco management team, assisting in the development of its long-term business strategies, and near-term operating plans. Acts as an advisory to the VP & General Manager and other senior managers on all financial related issues.
 Drives improvement in business performance through effective cost control, monitoring and reporting systems, with emphasis on profitability and cash flow.
 Delivers accurate and timely financial reports including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
 Evaluates all financial systems and procedures and implements changes and improvements to increase accuracy, control and timely reporting. Ensures integrity of financial reporting systems.
 Maintains the inventory and rental fleet systems with integrity and standardization. Monitors controls over inventory and rental fleet management processes and implements changes to improve operations and efficiencies as required. Maintains cycle counting processes and conducts physical inventories as needed.
 Assists senior management in optimizing inventory and rental fleet levels and related pay back.
 Identifies opportunities to improve the business through process changes, automation, technology advancements and data analysis; key business partner for ERP improvement and implementation strategy.
 Continually reviews facility and operating costs to justify capital expenditure upgrades.
 Ensures financial controls and operating procedures are in place and to comply with GAAP, Parent and legislative requirements.
 Leads the annual budget process and be responsible for monitoring performance to plan on a continuous basis.
 Ensures best practices are consistently implemented regarding all financial and accounting related processes and procedures.
 Coordinates with internal and external audit teams and take responsibility for related activities, results and action items.
 Implements processes for establishing, monitoring and reporting on performance against KPIs (operational and financial);
 Oversees, directs and organizes the work of the finance team. Promotes a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
 Establishes and monitors staff performance and development goals, assigns accountability, sets objectives and establishes priorities. Mentors and develops staff using a supportive and collaborative approach.
 Drives and supports compliance and ethical processes and behaviors through the business.
 Manages the department budget.
