Job Description

The Ancra International Group (the “Ancra Group”, or the “Group”) is an operating segment of The Heico Companies, LLC (“Heico”).  The Ancra Group represents 18 businesses concentrated in three primary industry sectors: Cargo Control and Securement, Thermal and Power Management, and Metal Products and Services.  On a consolidated basis the Group’s revenues total in excess of $500 million, headcount is in excess of 3,000, and global operations span 17 countries.

Develops and oversees a shared services organization for the North American business units of the Ancra Group. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer of the Ancra Group.

Key responsibilities for this role are as follows:

  • Establishing accounting policies and procedures for the Group
  • Designing and implementing controls surrounding the key accounting processes managed at the Ancra Group Corporate level
  • Routinely verifying the design and effectiveness of key controls maintained at the North American business unit level, including through periodic on-site visits
  • Building and managing the Ancra Group Corporate accounting staff
  • Implementing shared services for key business processes for the North American business units, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, cash reconciliation and payroll
  • Overseeing the monthly close and reporting process for the North American business units
  • Supporting the annual budget process
  • Providing ideas and solutions for automating manual, labor intensive data gathering and reporting processes
  • Assisting in due diligence for acquisition targets
  • Integrating key accounting process of newly acquired businesses
  • Working with Heico Corporate Accounting in concluding on complex and/or nonroutine transactions
  • Responding to Internal and External Audits, and implementing recommendations in a timely manner.


  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting

Skills and Relevant Work Experience:

  • CPA required
  • Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience, preferably Big 4
  • Minimum 2 years working for a multi-national corporation
  • Minimum 8 total years of work experience in progressive roles in accounting and finance
  • Experience implementing shared services a plus
  • Experience working with consolidation software (SAP’s Business Objects, Hyperion, etc.)
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working in and managing team environments.
