The Position

This position is a member of the Sales/Marketing Department. The Customer Service Representative will report directly to the Customer Service Manager and is responsible for helping any customers with questions about their machine parts.

AS/400 System Knowledge

Job Requirements

Primary Responsibilities
Interface with customers via phone, fax, mail, e-mail and internet. To place and input orders and quotes.
oAnswer all customer inquiries using available information and resources.
oInput orders.
oQuote items as requested.
oNotify customers of delivery or pricing discrepancies.
oFollow-up to turn quotes to orders.
Assist customers with specific needs regarding order placement and/or follow up.
oDetermines part number and/or components required.
oReview order status changes with customer.
oExpedite orders as requested by customer.
oMaintain Open Order Report on a weekly basis
Assist C.P. Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Production Control, TSS, Sales and Engineering as required.
oProvide accurate data as requested by various departments regarding customer request and quotes.
oProvide/maintain sales figures.
Maintain system pricing structures.
oAs required, review pricing structures and identify problem areas to appropriate department.
oAdjust pricing as required with approval of immediate supervisor.
oMaintain blanket orders.
oMaintain custom price books.
Maintain customer database.
oMaintain customer information database as required for customer service.
Maintain order and quote files. RPG correspondence.
oMaintain files in neat and orderly manner.
Assign serial numbers for tooling
oAssign serial numbers for tooling purchased via RPG.
Back-up of Administrative Assistant.
