We need a dynamite customer service representative to join our growing team.nbsp; This opportunity is at our Raleigh facility: 2910 Industrial Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform customer service sales and support functions, via telephone and email. Place incoming orders, coordinate availability and delivery of products, resolve product or service problems. This role reports directly to Director of Sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Receive, enter and acknowledge all customer orders, attention to detail is critical

  • Support the sales team by providing quotes and other information as needed

  • Work with all internal teams to support customer accounts and orders

  • Support existing customers and accounts, open new accounts as needed

  • Contact customers as necessary for shipment updates and information necessary to process orders

  • Great use of judgment to comply with instructions, standard procedures, methods, and practices

  • Ability to work with little supervision, including the making of minor decisions

  • Responsible for cleanliness of his/her own work area and the general housekeeping of the Company

  • Front desk responsibilities, route incoming calls, greet and direct visitors, contribute to team effort

  • Keep management informed of all activity

  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements


  • College degree in Business preferred, but equivalent work experience considered

  • Minimum of 2 years in sales or customer service, some accounting

  • Excellent communication skills are required, both written and verbal

  • Ability to sense and relate observations to business opportunity

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and operational software, MRP system

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus

The employee is frequently required to sit and to use a computer keyboard with mouse for long periods of time. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move 25 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job in the Plant or Warehouse, the employee is exposed to noise and aluminum particles. The noise level is usually moderate, but hearing protection may be required in designated areas. The employee is required to wear safety glasses when in the manufacturing area.
