Job Description

The Customer Service Representative receives and processes orders directly from customers via e-mail and/or fax in a timely and accurate manner. May also receive order requests from outside sales representatives such as sample requests and/or replacement orders. Requires detailed data entry into company designed computer system (Microsoft AX) and communication with internal resources regarding needs of Customers and/or Sales Team. Informs customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information requested by our customers. Requirements Order entry – ensure the sales order correctly reflects the customer requirements and the orders are priced correctly. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns and requests. Manages assigned customer territory with skill and professionalism by taking care of the customer’s needs and requirements. Confirms inventory availability or production schedule and communicates estimated ship dates to customers and sales team. Process and track returned merchandise (RGA/RMA). Process miscellaneous credits as required. Consult with scheduling, production, and shipping to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments. Prepare various reports for management. Closely follow all established policies, guidelines and pricing for customer accounts . Provide timely feedback to Customer Service Manager regarding customer activity such as satisfaction with service, quality, new opportunities, complaints, etc. Partner with scheduling, production, shipping and sales team to meet and exceed customer's expectations.
