Primary Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager is responsible for the leadership of the D365 F&SCM implementation , including kick off, scope and scope change management, schedule management, cost management, open issue management, requirements confirmation and definition, risk analysis, performance management and compliance assurance.
  • Possess and demonstrate the interpersonal and leadership skills to build positive relationships in a matrix organization. Actively listen, probe, and identify concerns. Understand Heico and MPG’s business and speak their language. Develop credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment.
  • Oversee internal and external project team members (Functional and Technical Business Analysts, Managers) to ensure project tasks are completed on time, on budget and to specifications.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project delivery dates are clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon.
  • Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
  • Solid and detailed understanding of ERP functionality, technology, and integrations
  • In depth understanding of the financial details and budget of each assigned project
  • Ability to motivate and manage project teams as well as plan, execute and monitor delivery for self and others.
  • Coach and guide members of the internal team to complete project tasks with excellence
  • Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively work with project teams to identify solutions to address them in advance.
  • Create and present project status reporting to MPG and Heico leadership team

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computing, finance, business management or other relevant field of study.
  • 8+ years of strong business analysis and project management experience.
  • 5+ years of successful ERP Project Management experience; leading at least 2 full cycle Microsoft D365 F&SCM implementation projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly preferred.
  • Functional knowledge of ERP core business processes (e.g., order management, distribution/fulfillment, invoicing, customers, procurement, inventory, HR, financial reporting, etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies.
  • Experience with change management, project risk mitigation, and issue management.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office suite products including Visio and Microsoft Projects.
  • Proven experience with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proactive decision analysis capabilities; takes into consideration size, complexity, visible and unknown risks, timelines, etc.
  • Ability to manage projects that cross over to several locations.
  • Manage team with onshore and offshore resources.
  • Preparation and communication of project status meetings and escalation of critical issues.
  • Coordinating/Monitoring project documentation, timelines, technical performance, budget, production, quality deliverables, and corrective action initiatives.
  • Must be available to occasionally work off-hours to support project activities and deployments.
  • Extensive travel required up to 75%.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
