Heicos Metal Processing Group (HMPG) is Heicos largest of four platforms with over 900 million in revenues and over 2,000 employees. The Position

The Financial Analyst will support the Manager, Financial Reporting and Analysis, through the preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reporting for the Heico Metal Processing Group. The position will support all twelve business units and serve as a liaison between business units and corporate functions. Position has high exposure to senior level management and is open due to an internal promotion. This opportunity is located at The Heico Companies office at 27501 Bella Vista Parkway, Warrenville, IL 60555.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare all monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for HMPG

  • Monitor and ensure all business units meet reporting requirements timely and accurately

  • Provide operational support to improve financial results for business units on a proactive basis

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects to improve performance of the group

  • Prepare and analyze benchmark data for business units

  • Analysis of financial data and relate to operational performance

  • Create and maintain accurate tools and reports in an efficient manner and assist management in making informed decisions

  • Collaborate with business partners and cross functional teams to define analytic requirements for ad-hoc tools and reports, and then translate those requirements into a final product

  • Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to proactively identify, recommend, and implement improvements to internal processes and procedures.

  • Assist with preparation and compilation of budgets and forecasts for all business units

  • Perform recordkeeping and maintain financial statements for several non-operating locations including processing of invoices, cash receipts and routine monthly close entries

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, CPA preferred

  • 2- 5 years work experience, public accounting a plus

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to foster, manage and leverage relationships across the organization

  • Effective communications skills (written verbal)

  • Strong Business, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to adapt quickly, effectively manage time and learn new tasks independently

  • Understanding of accounting processes, procedure and internal controls

  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics and SAP BPC Consolidation software a plus

  • Travel less than 10 required
