Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment efforts by leveraging effective sourcing strategies to attract active and passive candidates. Uses employee referral, recruiting boards, internet, social media, and industry and community organizations to build a strong talent pool.
  • Attend University Spring & Fall Career Fair Events to build brand recognition in supporting our Campus Recruitment Program.
  • Support program rollouts by assisting with disseminating communications, training webinars, marketing materials, and organizational change management.
  • Support the administration of the Applicant Tracking and Human Resource Systems.
  • Provide administrative support in numerous areas, such as; EEO and Affirmative Action compliance, resource development, and a multitude of various HR communication materials.
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the department.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or other closely related disciplines or has equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly verbally and in writing.
  • Strong and innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick effective decisions.
  • Advanced PC skills with experience in Microsoft office products such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to attend recruiting events (10-12 weeks of the year).
