Job Description

Administer all personnel policies and procedures including, but not limited to the following areas:

Monitor employment needs and recruit applicants to meet requirements.

Maintain and develop recruiting sources, check references, schedule pre-employment tests, explain company policies and orientate new employees. Process all data for new hires.

Process payroll in Ultimate software system. Enter data for merit and promotional increases, job changes, and other related change.

Maintain employee benefit program. Monitor eligibility requirements for holiday pay, vacation, insurance, and savings plans. Process changes to insurance, 401k, and other benefit changes.

Prepare government and employee benefit reports as required. Complete all requests relating to employment, payroll data, job verification as required. Post/distribute all information communicating policy or corporate changes.

Advise and counsel employees in resolving complaints and personnel problems, and resolve policy questions. Conduct employee meetings as necessary.

Maintain all workers compensation claims. Communicate with employee, medical facilities, insurance company as needed for follow-up. Maintain Gensuite training, OSHA logs and complete corporate reports.

Maintain personnel files. Update personnel information (address, tax, pay changes, marital status, etc.) as needed.

Assist the leadership team with projects including but not limited to monthly reports, organizational charts, and event coordinating.

Job Requirements

High School diploma required with post High School coursework preferred

3-5 years Human Resources experience, or similar role

Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment desired

HRIS, ATS, Payroll experience desired

Technology savvy

Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities

Time and project management skills are critical to this role

Ability to provide professional and interpersonal communication when interacting with customers - internal and external

Adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing circumstances, direction and strategy
