Job Description

The Inventory Clerk will support manufacturing production by inventorying and disbursing supplies and equipment to aid production employees needs. Responsible for receipts of production orders and proper closure of orders. May also be needed for purchase receipts. Responsible for providing team support within the Inventory Department and other departments with which Inventory interfaces. Inventory Clerk will foster accuracy and excellence in quality customer service. Compiles records of material and stock for all production departments. Compiles information on production inventories, prepares reports of inventory balances, shortages. Investigates cause of discrepancies. Disperses and receives all production jobs in the facility and pulls or directs the pull of needed component parts. Spot checks inventory counts as needed. Responsible for providing team support within the department and other areas of the facility to foster accuracy and excellence in quality customer service.
Will perform other additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must have the ability to lift, push, pull or move up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on an infrequent basis. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, and lifting. Must be able to see and hear in order to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Must be functionally literate in the English language. Must be able to see and hear in order to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Responsible for knowing, understanding, and adhering to company and department safety policies and procedures. Must work in a safe manner whenever on company property. Immediately reports safety problems to supervisor or a manager. Attend all company safety training. Reports any work-related injury or illness to supervisor immediately and prior to the end of the scheduled shift.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:
At least one year of experience in a related role.
