Job Description

JOB PURPOSE/NARRATIVE: The purpose of this job is to support the marketing department in fulfilling all marketing projects related to internal and external marketing initiatives.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: n/a
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide support to the marketing team as needed on various projects. - Work closely on a daily basis with other departments (sales, operations, etc.). - Support marketing projects including but not limited to; social media, email blasts, maintaining collateral database for inventory and print, image library, CRM and/or ecommerce database. - Create and/or edit artwork files for digital and print as needed (flyers, ads, etc.). - Assist with maintaining website, images and creating/keeping up to date internal/external notices. - Assist with updating/creating PowerPoint presentations. - Collect and disburse website inquiries as needed. - Research and communicate with Centralized Purchasing and marketing vendors for quotes and issuance of purchasing terms and conditions. - Assist with coordination of tradeshows in the US and Canada. - Coordinate projects related to the Canadian and Mexican markets as needed. - Perform other additional duties as assigned by management.
WORKING CONDITIONS/EXPOSURES: Works mainly in an office environment at desk in front of a computer. Some picking, packing and shipping of marketing collateral material when needed for customers/sales team. Maintains work area in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe manner. Periodic overtime may be required from time to time.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Experience in MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must possess ability to view computer monitor for long periods of time. Must have the ability to lift, push, pull or move up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 35 lbs. on an infrequent basis. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, and lifting. OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of French or Spanish languages are plus. Competent keyboarding.
EDUCATION: Minimum of a Bachelors degree in marketing, business or related field.
EXPERIENCE: 1+ years experience working in marketing, advertising, graphic design and/or administrative capacity.
