Position Description:

The Parts Service Manageris a major contributor to the strategic vision and its execution for the Aftermarket Group. They will lead the team in growing sales, gross margin and overall profitability of the Aftermarket Support business, including Parts, Service and Training Sales. The responsibilities will also include warranty administration, communications, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional technical support to dealers and direct customers.

This role requires strong leadership to manage business operations while managing technical personnel. This person must have the ability to effectively drive projects and new processes, and partnering with other internal disciplines.


  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

  • Oversees Parts Sales, Service, and Technical Communications.

  • Plans and directs all aspects of the organizations policies, objectives, and initiatives including Product Development, Promotions, Pricing and Forecasting, Warranty and Field Service.

  • Leads the team in identifying competitive strategies and evaluates, adjusts the organizations action plans accordingly to meet current and future customer needs

  • Manages technical communications team, and the communication channels to customers and associates.

  • Responsible for providing technical support to dealers and end users.

  • Creates metrics to improve customer service quality results and maximize customer operational performance.

  • Contributes to quality improvement throughout the operation.

  • Proliferates Company Mission, Vision, Core Competencies and Organization Culture in everything completed. Developer of talent in the organization.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Job Requirements


  • Experience in the Heavy Equipment Industry preferred, but not required

  • Minimum 4-year degree in Business or Engineering Technology or equivalent experience MBA preferred

  • Minimum 5 years in active leadership role: Process Improvement, Decision Making, Managing Processes, Staffing, Planning, Tracking Budget Expenses, Analyzing Information, Developing Standards, Help Desk Experience, Emphasizing Excellence.

  • Strong computer skills utilizing MS Office applications.nbsp; nbsp;

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
