Job Description

Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day manufacturing operations business activities.

Coordinate the process of preparing and implementing annual strategic operations business plans.
Ensure adequate internal controls exist to maximize the utilization of available resources.

Utilize strong operations and engineering background in the oversight of business projects and production.
Create an environment that promotes clear communications and information sharing.
Ensure that all subordinates understand their responsibilities, authorities, and accountability.
Ensure that all operations activities and operations are carried out in compliance with respective regulations and laws.

Job Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of fifteen years of progressive operations management experience in industrial manufacturing businesses. S/he will be a seasoned executive with an outstanding track record and reputation for his/her business acumen, judgment, quantitative analysis ability, leadership skills and integrity. The candidate must have a strong understanding of operational and supply chain issues to be able to contribute their expertise to this critical area. The successful candidate must be both a forward-thinking leader and operator and hands-on in implementing practical solutions.

Additionally, he/she will possess:
A demonstrated ability to develop an outstanding team and motivate commitment and performance.
Experience with LEAN concepts and programs.
An undergraduate degree is required, preferably in Engineering. A Master of Business Administration degree is desirable.
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. It will include a base salary and annual performance bonus. Relocation support will be provided if needed.
