Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with negotiating prices and annual material contracts
  • Aid in timing and quantity of deliveries.
  • Create accurate spreadsheets with material demand forecasts
  • Assist with monthly reconciliation and required filings for Purchasing
  • Verify \u0026amp; update data by comparing it to source documents
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Works with the Estimating, Project Management and Service Departments for all material \u0026amp; equipment needs
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience supporting similar key responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other related computer skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and follow oral, and written instructions
  • Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
  • Proficient in math, ERP/Accounting systems and spreadsheets and who is also accustomed to working in a multi-faceted environment
  • Detail oriented and understands business practices \u0026amp; workflows.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize daily workload and meet deadlines
  • Previous work experience with Purchasing/Purchase Orders and PO systems, a plus.
