The primary responsibility of the Service Manager will be to plan, lead and manage activities related to the identification, pursuit, and capture of electrical commercial sales opportunities. The qualified candidate will have demonstrated skills in business development and business capture within the commercial electrical or industrial electrical industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create positive working relationships and maintain regular contact with assigned accounts and potential clients.
  • Build partnering relationships with owners and owner\u0027s representatives responsible for making decisions regarding building maintenance and repair work.
  • Develop and execute business plans for defined targets. Ensure consistency with Kenmor's overall business plan and market strategy.
  • Identify customer\u0027s operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements. Actively listen, probe and identify concerns.
  • Position renewable service agreements as valuable and cost-effective partnership whenever feasible.
  • Create competitive, high-quality and timely estimates and proposals satisfying the customers scope of service.
  • Handle complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage the operation process, including job budgets, internal team selection, job kick off meetings, material ordering, manpower staffing and monthly financial projections.
  • Assist with creating and making marketing presentations that showcase KenMor\u0027s character, resources and capabilities.
  • Track renewal dates on maintenance contracts.
  • Supervise the Service department and all project labor, material, equipment, and subcontract budgets.
  • Provide monthly personnel feedback and mentoring.
  • Support Service Technicians ensuring that the company's interpretation of the project specifications and contract documents are communicated and followed.
  • Assist in resolving conflicts regarding drawings, specifications, general conditions, special conditions, clarifications or exclusions.
  • Facilitate and participate in the planning process to bridge the gap between owner/client and planning when needed.
  • Manage TEGG testing group and build relationships with owners to secure testing and maintenance contracts.
  • Performs all other projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of payroll department.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, and or equivalent technical work experience plus a minimum of ten years of work experience supporting similar primary responsibilities.
  • Outstanding team-building and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and persuasion skills.
