Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual demand plan by coordinating & interfacing with the sales team to understand market and sales trends by major product/product category.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual capacity plan by coordinating & interfacing with the operations & supply chain teams to understand lead times, material plans, inventory/re-stocking levels, and overall product capacity.
  • Facilitate a business review with the leadership team on the overall market trends, demand & capacity plans, and required inventory levels to serve the customer on a recurring basis (quarterly, annually).
  • Develop WIP & FG inventory / re-plenishment levels based on required customer service levels.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong to advanced skills in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
  • Strong to advanced skills in ERP systems
  • Knowledge of SIOP processes, material planning, scheduling, inventory, and sales.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in materials, scheduling, production, operations, and/or sales function(s) required. Previous experience operating or facilitating a SIOP process preferred.
